Criterion Wine is the brainchild of Christos Ioannou, insurance specialist turned wine professional. Christos caught the wine bug at university and continued to develop his interest throughout his 20 year career in marine insurance.
Christos holds the WSET Wine Diploma, one of the world's highest wine qualifications, and is a member of the Association of Wine Educators.
After working for a wine importer, Christos fulfilled his ambition by launching Criterion Wine to do what he loves most – helping people to learn about and enjoy wine.
Christos has travelled all over the globe visiting many of the wine regions in the Old and New World . He has been a Judge at the International Wine & Spirits Competition for the last 4 years.
