We organize many different kinds of tastings, and can cater from 10 – 100 people.
We can also devise a tailor made format to suit your exact requirements. These are the main categories, but click on each section for further details:-
COMPETITIVE: How good is your sensory memory? Can you tell a Chardonnay from a Chenin Blanc or a Merlot from a Mourvedre? This is your chance to put your taste buds to the test, and to prove your powers of identification. Always huge fun.
COMPARATIVE: These are slightly more educational and give you the chance to ‘contrast and compare' wines from different grape varieties, regions and countries. These tastings will suit those who already know a bit but want to find out more.
TUTORED: Our most specialized tastings, for those who really want to learn in depth about a particular country or wine region. It's the next best thing to actually being there!
PRICES range from £15 to £50 per head, and depend on the number of people attending and quality of wines used. They include all of the wines provided for the tasting, the prizes (where applicable), and our services, but NOT room hire, glasses, water, spittoons or food. Please ask us about any of these ‘extras', and about suggested venues.
Our prices are based on generous measures of 10-12 tasting portions per bottle, and if you require further wine for post-tasting consumption, we can supply this at normal retail prices.
