- A gastronomic tour of Alsace

For 2011 and beyond we have several more tours planned, so let us know if you are interested and we will send you the full program with costs as soon as we have finalised the details: -
Burgundy, 6 days by coach from London at the beginning of May. We will go to Chablis, the famous villages of the Cote D’Or like Nuits St. Georges, Meursault and Montrachet, Pouilly Fuisse in the Macon and on the way back may even stop off in Champagne!- The Languedoc, the most innovative and diverse of all the French wine regions where the wines are great value. The 4 day tour will cover areas like Corbieres, Minervois, and Limoux. For this tour you arrange your own flight to one of the local airports like Carcassonne and we arrange local transport to take you to visit the wineries.
- Wine and Opera in Northern Italy: Fly to Verona, visit the regions of Trentino and see the stunning scenery of the Dolomites; spend time in Valpolicella tasting rich reds including the famous Amarone. Then the option to see an opera in the majestic amphitheatre of Verona.
- Wine and Classical Sites in Greece: If you thought that Greek wine was all about Retsina then think again. Greece produces some lovely wines and some of the best vineyards are in Mantinea and Nemea in the Peloponnese south of Athens. This is the area where there are numerous classical sites like Mycenae, Epidaurus and Ancient Corinth, and also Nafplion one of the most beautiful towns in Greece where we will be based for some of the tour.
